The wedding day is starting to get close and there are LOTS of details to coordinate and logistics to plan!  It’s an exciting time, but it can also be a stressful one when questions arise that you’re just not sure how to answer.  That’s where we come in!

We want every one of our couples to get the very most out of their wedding photography. It’s our job to help guide you through the planning process and alleviate any stress you may have about the role we will play in your special day.  As with most of our couples, you’re probably starting to ask questions like “how long should we allow in the schedule for taking photos?”  Well, that answer all depends on the structure of your wedding day and what’s most important to you.  Here are two examples of the timing we recommend depending on how you want to experience your day:

If you want to:

• maximize the amount of time you get to spend with your friends & family
• share a few minutes of private, intimate time together before you become man & wife
• calm your wedding day nerves and head into the rest of your day as a team

(15 min) First Look
(30 min) Portraits of couple

(30 min) Bridal Party – Full

(15 min) Immediate Family
(Photos to end 30 mins prior to ceremony)

CEREMONY

(15 min) Remaining family (optional)

TIME FOR PHOTOS BEFORE CEREMONY: 1 hr, 30 min
TIME FOR PHOTOS AFTER CEREMONY: 15 min (optional)

 

If you want to:

• observe the tradition of seeing each other for the first time as you walk down the isle
• share this special moment with your family & friends
• take most of your photos during cocktail hour
