2012 was an awesome year.  We had the honor of photographing 20 amazing couples, which allowed us to do what we love most – capture the love between two people.  A huge thank you to each and every one of these couples for allowing us to be a part of your lives!

To kick off the new year, we ran a fun contest on our facebook page!  We chose one image from every wedding, engagement session and bridal session (one per couple) and posted it on our Facebook page where everybody could vote for their favorites.  The top three couples (who we will announce today), are the proud winners of some awesome prizes!  But before we get to the winners we just wanted to take a moment to thank everyone who participated, posted it on their timelines and voted for their friends & family. These past two weeks have been a blast watching all of you compete and even chat with each other about the contest.  (And there was only a little bit of trash talk. LOL!)  We just loved all the great interaction and had so much fun along the way.  The competition got SO intense half way through that we had to add extra prizes because we just couldn’t believe what a great response we were getting!  We gained 350 new “likes” on our page over the course of the two weeks and you all brought in a total of 3,412 votes!  Thank you, thank you, thank you!  You guys are truly AMAZING and we are so grateful for the support.

And now, the moment you’ve all been waiting for . . . the OFFICIAL winners!

Jessica & Christian were our winners with 985 votes!  They get to take home a FREE 20×30 canvas print from our professional print lab ($500 value)!  WAHOO!  You’ll get to choose any image from your engagement session or wedding . . . even though the wedding hasn’t happen yet!  Can’t wait to capture more beautiful images of you two lovebirds in March and see what ends up on your wall!  Nearly 1,000 votes for a single entry – that’s crazy far beyond what we imagined this contest would be.  You guys are AWESOME!

Nicole & Jadon gave them a run for their money bringing in 861 votes!  They also get to take home a FREE 16×20 floating print ($300 value)!  You guys ROCKED this contest and certainly kept things interesting down to the very end.  We can’t wait to see which image you guys pick :-)

And our 3rd place winners were Nikki & Antti with 391 votes!  They are the proud owners of a $100 value “date night” package!  You’ll enjoy a $50 dinner at your choice of Outback Steakhouse, The Bonefish Grill, Carrabba’s, Roy’s or our personal favorite, Flemings.  Next you can take an after dinner trip to Starbucks from some yummy beverages before you head to see the latest flick at Harkins Theaters.  And to top it all off, a $50 gas card will make sure you’ve got plenty of fuel to get there.  Hope you guys have such a fun night out on the town!

We have to give major props to Becky & Paul too, who were beat by a VERY narrow margin for the 3rd place spot!
