March is the peak of our busy spring wedding season so we’ve photographed four beautiful weddings in the last two weeks. It’s always fun and busy time, but this year we’ve been blessed to receive some really exciting news in the midst of sorting, editing and blogging all of these pretty images!

Last week we found out that Katie & Garrett’s beautiful Sedona elopement was featured on HUFF POST, one of the most popular online news and content sources in the world! WOW! How amazing is that? That definitely qualifies this darling pair for celebrity status, right? LOL! Now we just need to come up with an awesome celebrity couple name for them . . . “Gatie”?  Or maybe “Karrett”?  So many options ;-)

This week, we got some other amazing news! On a whim a few months back, we entered some of our favorite images from the last few years in the international “Shoot & Share Photo Contest.”  More than 330,000 photos were submitted from 150 countries. The voting was open to anyone in the world and more than 60 million votes were cast!

We submitted 50 images and 18 of them placed in the TOP 30% or better with one of them even being chosen as a FINALIST for its category! We were thrilled and incredibly humbled to find out that so many voters responded to our work, especially next to so many other amazing photographs.

We’re so lucky to be able to do what we love for couples that we love – there’s no better reward than that, but being recognized in fun ways like this is icing on an already delicious cake! Check out all the top photos that were chosen below:
