An Arizona Biltmore Wedding by Phoenix Wedding Photographers Ryan & Denise

Ellen & Derek came all the way from St. Louis to celebrate their wedding day at the beautiful historic Arizona Biltmore Resort & Spa. We got a chance to get to know these two via Skype leading up to the big event so we were absolutely thrilled when their day finally arrived. And we were so excited to discover that they were just as wonderful to hang out with in person! We were greeted with big hugs just like we were old friends! Not only are they a darling couple, these two have some serious STYLE! The look of their day was the perfect compliment to their historic Biltmore location. From Ellen’s stunning gown, gold headpiece and classic red lips to Derek’s dapper white bow tie and cummerbund, looking at these two felt like you were watching a scene right out of the Great Gatsby. Did I mention Ellen’s adorable pearl detail Kate Spade shoes? She told me they were the very first thing she bought for the wedding when Derek proposed. And rightfully so! They were the perfect “something blue.” I can only imagine how much will power it took to keep those beauties in their box all these months.
