A Navy Lodge Wedding in Coronado Island by Destination Wedding Photographers Ryan & Denise

Since Heather was a little girl, she’d been dreaming about her wedding. She imagined herself staring into the eyes of her handsome groom, saying “I do” with the beach behind them. The ocean waves would kiss the shore, creating a quiet symphony as they walked hand in hand along the water’s edge. Yes, the beach would be the perfect place. Or maybe Disneyland? Because she really wanted to feel like a princess. And where else in the world would you feel more like a princess than at the Magic Kingdom? Heather, I think we can safely say, “You nailed it.”

Heather married her prince charming, the ever so handsome (and hilarious) airmen Daniel at the Navy Lodge overlooking the beach on Coronado Island. And she was the MOST beautiful princess bride, complete with a stunning ballgown and just the right amount of sparkle. It felt like a family reunion to us since we had the incredible honor of photographing her sister Sam’s wedding last year. We just love this sweet family and it couldn’t have been more of a joy to share this special time with them! It was a perfect day with beautiful weather, a gorgeous beach backdrop and tons of laughter – truly a fairy tale dream come true. The look on Heather & Daniel’s faces was priceless when they heard cheers erupt from the rooftop where the bridesmaid’s were secretly watching their “First Look” unfold. And then there was the epic moment when Daniel picked up his bride and triumphantly carried her, ballgown and all, down the aisle after they sealed their vows with a kiss. So much fun! We truly loved every minute of their day and we’re so excited to share some of our favorite images!
