A Tucson Engagement Session by Phoenix Wedding Photographers Ryan & Denise
Michelle and Daisaku met in a photography class in college. They’ve spent plenty of time over the course of their relationship side by side from behind the lens, but they’ve never actually had photos of them taken as a couple. Being able to give them that gift for the first time felt like such a special honor for us. This sweet pair have spent much a their relationship in different cities and often on different continents. While they met in Tuscon and it’s where Michelle currently lives, Daisaku is in the Air Force, serving our country while stationed in Turkey. Michelle contacted us a few months back and wanted to schedule a session while he was on leave for a short time. Only two days after the session, they said goodbye and he boarded an airplane for the long flight back to Turkey. Michelle had a few very scary hours when the terrorist attack on the Turkish airport took place, but luckily she got a call from Daisaku letting her know that he hadn’t been there and had arrived safely on base. Thankfully, the waiting and worrying won’t last much longer for these lovebirds. In December, they will move to Belgium together to start a brand new chapter of their lives. We couldn’t be more excited for them to finally be able to share their days without planning for the next goodbye. We have no doubt that a wonderful adventure awaits them! Here are some of our favorites from their session:
