A Phoenician Wedding by Scottsdale Wedding Photographers Ryan & Denise

When Terry arrived at the fire station for a ride along, one of many experiences on her journey through medical school, she had no idea that it would be a day that would change her life forever. Josh was one of several firemen she met throughout the day, but it didn’t take long for him to make an impression. His fun, silly sense of humor – the way she giggled at his jokes and crazy stories – they were both done for right away. It may have felt like just a regular day when it started, but by the end of it, they had each met the love of their life. Five years later, on one of many amazing trips together, Josh would get down on one knee in the middle of a bridge in Montana and ask Terry to be his travel partner forever.

Their wedding day began at the picturesque Phoenician Resort in Scottsdale, Arizona where they said their vows on the beautiful Orchid lawn. Then they celebrated and danced the afternoon away among the contemporary charms of the North Italia Arcadia restaurant nearby. Their wedding was truly a dream to capture! So many lovely and darling details – from the beautiful, delicate florals, to the modern hanging lights and architectural elements of their unique reception space, and last but not least, the root beer float toasts in place of champagne – it was as fun a day as it was beautiful! Paired with a darling couple that could not be more in love, a fun-filled bridal party  to hug and laugh away the day with and sweetness filled moments like watching Terry wipe away her dad’s tears during the father-daughter dance – we couldn’t have loved being a part of their day anymore!
