A Phoenix maternity and family session on South Mountain by Phoenix Wedding Photographers Ryan & Denise

If you’ve been following our work for a while, you probably recognize these cute mugs! We’ve been blessed to have Meghan and Matt in front of our cameras many times. We’ve been tempted to start a blog category dedicated to them and their sweet family. Ha ha! It’s hard to believe, but we LOVE it more and more every time we get to photograph these guys!  They are the kind of people who are 100% genuine and still manage to be infectiously happy. Hanging out with these two is an absolute joy, behind the camera or otherwise.  We’re so thankful that we get to call them both clients AND friends!

It’s pretty funny though, every time we post one of their photos on our Facebook page, we get comments like this one, “Oh yay!!! I love seeing their photos and feeling like I know them, but I totally don’t. So basically, I’m kind of creepy.” (Thanks Shannon!) And don’t worry friend – you’re not the only one ;-)

Meghan and Matt have a baby girl on the way so we spent a little time with them on and around South Mountain, documenting their journey towards being a family of four! Sweet little Monroe with be a welcome addition to this sweet crew. How cute is Madden in his stylish little hat! Cutest family ever, right?

One of Meghan’s wonderful sisters Erryn came along to play with Madden so he could enjoy himself and have lots of fun in between shots. That gave us plenty of chances to capture all the cuteness of these two lovebirds.

Look who decided to play in the puddle right behind where mom and dad were getting their photos taken? Too cute!

Talk about making pregnancy look GOOD! Meghan couldn’t be any more stunning.

Madden was in charge of keeping an eye on his blue giraffe and Monroe’s pink one. As you can see, he did an excellent job :-)

We asked them for a little spin and were amazed to see them whip out a full on dip at the end! (First time we’ve seen a pregnant woman do that!) Ha ha!

Maternity sessions are usually a little more focused on the mommy-to-be, but Matt was just looking so handsome we had to grab a couple of him too while his lovely wife was strutting her stuff.

We headed up the mountain and were blessed with a stunning sunset! Yay for lots of colors and whispy clouds!

Meghan’s laugh makes my heart happy :-)

You could put these two in front of just about anything and they’d look amazing, but the city lights of Phoenix sure added a gorgeous sparkle.
