Megan and Peter had known each other since grade school. Peter had always had a crush on her, but never really had the courage to act on it. They didn’t run in the same circles at the time, so it was easier just to admire her from afar. After many years, he came across a photo of Megan on a pier in Oregon and he thought to himself, why not? So he crafted a witty Facebook message asking her to grab dinner. He hit send and went to bed. The next day, he awoke to discover the worst scenario possible – there was a “read” message at the bottom of his note, but no reply. Not a good sign. She saw it, but didn’t write back. It took Megan 16 (excruciating) hours to finally reply with a fairly non-committal “ok.” For Peter, that meant there was hope! He picked a date and time and they made plans for a casual dinner at Postino. It ended up being the best first date ever! They talked for six hours, non-stop. After that night, neither one needed a moment’s hesitation to make plans for their second date. And then their third date and many, many more. The rest, as they say, is history.
We loved every single moment of our time with Meagan & Peter! They are easy going, so fun and have an amazing chemistry! They requested desert AND water for their session so it gave us the perfect opportunity to visit beautiful Saguaro Lake and enjoy the beach, Arizona style! With a session in January, you don’t expect a couple to want to get in the water, but these two were totally game! In fact, it was their idea. The results are some of our new favorite images! So excited to share the highlights with you today! Megan & Peter’s Brophy Chapel wedding next December can’t get here fast enough! We cannot wait to get these lovebirds back in front of our cameras again soon.
We couldn’t be more excited to share some of our favorites!
