When Kristina & Jim first emailed us, they described themselves as “a laid back fun couple from the midwest.”  When it came to their big day, they’re main focus was to have a good time and enjoy the moments with the people they loved most.  Their wedding at The Castle at Ashley Manor was relaxed and fun, just like them!  These two love birds may disagree on what team should be the national champs, (Kristina’s a die hard Nebraska fan and Jim’s an Iowa man), but if there’s one thing that they can easily agree on it’s that they’re a perfect match in love.

These guys opted for a First Look so they could get most of their photos done before the ceremony and be able to relax and enjoy the day together.

Love that we captured each of their expressions at the same time here :-) So Sweet!

These two are just perfect for each other and their light hearted personalities compliment each other so well.

Jim’s been collecting Transformers since he was a kid.  As a special surprise for him, his mom had a Transformer groom’s cake made and displayed at the wedding!  He was so excited when they first walked over to check out the surprise. So fun!

Their classy bridal party fit in with the beautiful exterior of the Castle.

Just before the ceremony started, the lovely ladies at the Castle created an isle of rose petals featuring an “M” in honor of the soon to be Mr. & Mrs. Mackin!
