Kathryn & Ben met at church and after their initial meeting they kept running into each other at a Tempe coffee house, Solo Cafe, where they both hang out.  When two people are passionate lovers of coffee and Jesus, there’s no question that they would make a pretty great pair.  And, of course, they do.  For their engagement session, they really wanted some beautiful, natural photos in Sedona, but they also couldn’t help but include their favorite hangout which brought them together.  So before we all headed up north to enjoy the green grass and red rocks, we made a quick stop.

Next stop: Oak Creek in Sedona!

Kathryn has the most contagious laugh! I can totally hear it in my head looking at this one.

Since we rarely see much of the fall leaves in Phoenix, we had to take full advantage of the gorgeous colors.

One of my favs. I love how candid it feels, like they’re just hanging out enjoying each other’s company.  Which they totally were.

Love the angle of this one and the blue water behind them.

After a quick change, we headed over to one of our favorite spots the Crescent Moon Camp Grounds.  Love the yummy sunflare in this shot.

I love the color of Kathryn’s cute dress.  It really stood out against the natural color palette.

As the sky grew dark we headed up to Airport Mesa to take in the gorgeous views.

Love that you can even see the city lights in the background.

We had so much fun with these two! You’re wedding is going to be awesome and we can’t wait to be a part of it.
