Last Thursday we got the chance to pal around Scottsdale with the fun and warm hearted Joana & Joe who are getting married at the end of April.  They were so adorable with each other the whole time.  We love that!

We started off at the Valley Ho in Scottsdale.  Joana and Joe were eager to get started because they hadn’t seen each other all day.  They are both nurses and often work opposite schedules so the idea of spending the afternoon snuggling and staring into each others eyes was pretty appealing.  At first Joe said he was a little nervous in front of the camera, but as soon as he looked at his gorgeous bride to be, all the nerves seemed to fade away.

(Please sign the guestbook if you’d like to be notifed when the rest of their photos are online.)
AND don’t forget to click “love” under your favorite images along the way!

The Valley Ho was full of fun places to shoot, like these funky chairs on green astroturf style carpet in on of the outdoor hallways.

If you couldn’t already tell, Joe is big taller than Joana.  They really like to make fun of the hight difference.  Here, Joana stood on top of an end table so she could look her man straight in the eye.  She kept volunteering to “climb on stuff” throughout the course of the day.

I love Joana’s look on this next one.

Joe really rocked the serious look here.  And I can tell already that Joana is going to be a stunning bride.

Time to take off the shoes for a minute and relax on the couch together.

The Valley Ho has this awesome mirror, or cluster of mirrors, that do pretty crazy things.  We all decided that we want this funky mirror collection for our homes.

After a quick change for Joana, we headed up to the roof for some shots of the city and camelback mountain.

Can’t beat these awesome views!

After the that, we headed over to the Scottsdale Water Front.  There were so many fun backdrops there.

Time for a quick spin to show off Joana’s cute, flowy dress.

After the spinning was over, it was time for the talent competition.  Add flexibility to the list of their many talents!  And of course, we have to give props to Joana for rockin’ 3 awesome pairs of shoes for the shoot.

On our way back for another wardrobe change, Joana unexpectedly leaped onto Joe’s back and got a nice ride back to the car.  We love it when our couples are spontaneous like this!

Love the artistic look of this next one.

We finished up the session along the water on the new Soleri bridge.

We were having SO much fun with these two!!

So sweet.

AIRPLANE.  Think they’ll want to duplicate this move in wedding attire?  We sure hope so ;-)

After everyone got there proper keys back, it was time to head our separate ways :-( We had a blast hanging out the both of you!  Can’t wait to do it again on your wedding day!
