A desert engagement session by Phoenix Wedding Photographers, Ryan & Denise

It was a Friday afternoon and Jenny was on her way back from a walk with her 4 pound fur baby Chloe at her side. As they entered the house, she noticed something wasn’t right. Chloe’s paws were covered in tar! According to google, the only way to get tar off a dogs fur – peanut butter. So she changed into some grubby clothes and began the sticky, messy task of cleaning up her pup. The doorbell rang and she heard Jay call from the other room, “Jenny! Can you get the door?” Seriously?  “I’m kinda busy!” she replied, wiping another glob of peanut butter off of Chloe. “It’s for you though!” he called back from the other room. She sighed and headed towards the door, wondering why on earth he couldn’t just do it himself. As she opened the door, she gasped at the sight of GIANT bouquet of her favorite flowers. The card read, “Will you?” She may have been covered in tar, peanut butter and dog fur, but she couldn’t help but say YES!

We loved our time with Jenny & Jay for their desert engagement session! Love the way these two sweethearts look at each other. And we couldn’t help but fall in love with their adorable pup too! We kicked off the session at their beautiful Phoenix home so Miss Chloe could join in on the photo fun. We can’t wait to share in their wedding day in a few short weeks!
