It’s July in Arizona, so as you can guess, it’s pretty hot out there!  When Jennifer & Angel suggested we head up north and do their engagement photos at Jennifer’s grandparents cabin in Happy Valley, we were more than happy to oblige!  Jennifer spent lots of time there as a child playing with her cousins and exploring the forest around the cabin.  With so many wonderful family memories there, it was so much fun to add a few more in front of our cameras for their engagement session.

We started out with a mini family session with their two boys Andrew & Alex.  What a sweet family

Then it was time to focus on the bride & groom to-be :-)  Jennifer & Angel are high school sweethearts just like us!  It was a blast trading silly stories of what we were all like in high school.

We just couldn’t pass up the opportunity to have a little play time on the rope swing.

After the cabin, we drove down to a lovely creek.

Snuggling with your honey in the grass sounds like a pretty great way to spend an afternoon :-)

We had so much fun with you guys and a big thanks to your wonderful Grandparents for allowing us to use their beautiful home.  We can’t wait for the big day!
