We’re the type of people who get excited when we make new discoveries. And when we find something we’re excited about, we like to share it. We’re going to be starting off a new blog series today that highlights just that. It could be a movie, TV show, new restaurant or our latest gadget. Today we’re going to start out with something everybody enjoys – great food!
Today’s Friday Fav is a great local restaurant that we recently discovered. It’s been right around the corner from where we live since 2010. I guess we just don’t get out much. LOL. A few weeks ago we decided to leave the house and stumbled upon this quaint, inviting little place in Chandler’s historic district called Vintage 95. The name comes from its address, 95 W. Boston. In 1926 it was the original home to Chandler’s very first Post Office. It is a simple yet sophisticated wine lounge with an amazing menu that changes quarterly. The entrées are contemporary American with a twist on the classics. The kitchen is very small and everything they make is fresh, which means the menu is rather small. The great thing about a small menu is that they specialize in everything they make! If you order the Beef Tenderloin, it’s going to be the best darn Beef Tenderloin you have ever eaten. The prices are such that you wouldn’t want to go twice a week, but it’s totally worth the value. It’s the perfect place for a date night or to celebrate an anniversary. They have live music on the weekends which is very classy and not too loud. Every Sunday they have half off bottles of wine too. We haven’t been yet, but the happy hour is supposed to be amazing! If you’re in the Chandler area, definitely check out Vintage 95.
