A Cave Creek Arizona wedding by Phoenix Wedding Photographers Ryan & Denise
It’s official. I have a crush on this wedding :-) From the moment we met with Emily & Tony we pretty much knew that their wedding was going to be amazing. One look at Emily’s Pintrest boards filled with bright spring colors and citrus accents and that fact was pretty clear! AND we were blessed to get the chance to work with one of our favorite planners, Sandy Walker of In Awe Weddings & Events. Sandy was the perfect choice to help bring Emily’s gorgeous Pintrest boards to life and to make sure that every detail was in place for their special day at a beautiful private residence in Cave Creek.
Emily is actually a fellow alumni of Corona del Sol High School, where both Ryan & I graduated back in the day. When we reconnected with her at Becca & Danny’s wedding last summer, she hinted at the fact that she was hoping her long time love Tony would be popping the question pretty soon too. When we got the official “inquiry” email we were so excited to work with them! These two are just perfect together! We loved listening to family and friends talk about their history and how well they compliment each other. And you can really tell a man is head over heels for his bride when he’s willing to have their wedding conflict with an ever so important Yankees game ;-) I’m pretty sure Tony will tell you that it was worth it.

Emily’s hair and makeup were absolutely beautiful! Love this shot of the sweet little flower girl,Nora, watching her bridal preparation :-) Too cute!
Gorgeous!
All the girls had fun matching robes with their names embroidered on them. Such a sweet group of girls too!
The beautiful bride.
Tony was looking pretty sharp too in his dark gray suit and yellow tie.
First look! Love this shot!
Stunning!
So sweet!
This gorgeous fireplace was just right for a vintage movie star look.
How fun is this bright springtime color palette?
I love that their flower girl didn’t wear the traditional white dress. This little miss has so much personality! The fun bright green suits her perfectly. Totally love both our shots as she was walking down the isle.
Time to make it official!
Woo-hoo! Married at last!
Feast your eyes on this fabulous reception eye candy :-)
Love this shot of the newlyweds pausing for a little moment to themselves as they walk through the reception to take in all the lovely details.
Pretty much wherever we pointed our cameras, there was an awesome view – mountains, reflection, lovely reception set up – doesn’t get any better than this!
Time to let lose on the dance floor and have some fun!
I think Sandy was a little stumped when we asked to borrow the cute “i do” hanger that Emily’s dress had been hanging on towards the end of the night :-) But we had a little something in mind for it that didn’t involve a dress.
