Our Fall wedding season began last Saturday with the fabulous wedding of Dasia & Scott. They are from Denver so the beautiful Arizona Biltmore was actually a destination wedding location for them. It had rained a lot on Friday and some on Saturday morning (I know what you’re thinking, what are the odds that it would rain for a destination wedding in ARIZONA), so we ended up doing most of their photos inside, but the Biltmore is such a gorgeous venue it didn’t matter much to any of us. We had such a blast working with them! These two met as co-workers and in fact, they still work together to this day. How cute is that? Mr. & Mrs. working in side by side offices :-) It’s all very “Jim & Pam”. Their wedding was nothing less than fabulous: amazing couple, vintage classic movie theme (with the perfect splash of modern style), and the shoes . . . I’ll get to them in a minute.
Dasia’s gold Christian Louboutin shoes were AWESOME! All day long people kept commenting on them. And could she ever rock those stilettos – this girl is a pro in high heels. She made a stunning bride.
I love this shot of Dasia and her sisters – it just may be one of my favorite bridesmaid shots ever :-)
My favorite portrait of the day. She looks just like a classic leading lady.
What classic film would be complete without an equally dashing leading man? Scott certainly fit the part.
Another thing that made this wedding so amazing was the coordination of the extremely talented Sherri Lucero of Planned to Perfection. And perfection it was :-) Brides, we cannot tell you enough how much of an impact a great coordinator like Sheri can make on your wedding day. Instead of having to worry about every detail, the happy couple got to relax and take in their day because she was taking care of the rest.
Time to make it official! Here comes the bride . . .
The Aztec room, where their ceremony took place was gorgeous and totally fit with the vintage feel.
Dasia & Scott wanted to try something a little bit untraditional for their family photos. Gotta say, we really loved the results. Their families were so awesome to work with and totally rocked this Annie Leibovitz style portrait.
Time for some portraits of the newlyweds. How awesome is this vintage style shot? Love it!
The staff at the Biltmore was kind enough to unlock their private wine cellar so we could get some stellar shots!
Party time! Here’s just a small sample of the fabulous details. My personal favorite . . . dessert :-)
It’s not very often that cake eating shots make it into our favorites, but this series just makes me smile :-) Adorable!
First dance . . . so sweet!
One of the things we noticed about Dasia & Scott from our first meeting was their matching iPhones. They’re a couple after our own hearts! We just had to add a little bit of iLuv to their photos.
Make sure you check out the slideshow for more photos from their amazing day. Also, we had the pleasure of hanging out with these guys the night before their wedding for the rehearsal dinner. We’ll be posting a few images from that night in the next couple of days. To the new Mr. & Mrs. Morton: we had such a blast with you guys! Your wedding was such a great reflection of your style and generosity of spirit. It was such a pleasure getting to know you guys . . . and your awesome families and friends! Congratulations!
– Denise :-)

WOW! These are stunning! My favorites are the family photo, the martini and wine shots…and, of course, those shoes!
The last time I say Dasia she was a baby. Her mom and I were friends when we were much younger. It was such a joy to see how beautiful your family is. Thanks to your Uncle Tim for sending the link to my brother Ben who, in turn, sent it to me.
Please tell your mom, Theresa, HI and she done good!!!
