Playing a little catch up on posting about the completed goals on our 101 in 1001 list and also excited to report that there are a couple of really awesome ones in the works! For now, a few updates on our progress . . .
CHECK! #25: Reach 500 Fans on our Facebook Page
WOO-HOO! Last Thursday night , while we were happily networking with some awesome Arizona photographers at our local PUG (Pictage Users Group) meeting, we reached 500 fans on our Facebook fan page! We’ve been talking a lot lately about what we want our Facebook page to be like and different ways to grow it and manage it more efficiently. It felt like a very proud pat on the back to reach our goal and we can’t wait to see where this awesome tool takes us down the road. And of course, if you’re not already a fan, hop on over and “like” our page!
CHECK! #41: Host a Family Holiday
On Christmas Day, our house was packed with BOTH sides of our families! There were about 20 of us total in our 1700 square foot house, including a two year old, which should count as at least two people in my opinion LOL! It was a lot of fun having everybody together, although preparing for the big day and cleaning up after it was quite the undertaking :-) Hosting Christmas is kinda bitter sweet like that – even though it’s totally fun, you’re still glad when it’s over. Here are a few fun highlights:
CHECK! #50: Visit friends in San Francisco
While we were in San Francisco shooting Ashley & Jesse’s wedding back in September we had dinner with our awesome clients-turned-friends Chris & Lauren! We met at an awesome little cantina on the water near Pier 39 and afterwards, headed down the road to Ghiridelli Square for some AMAZING hot chocolate. Being the fabulous foursome that we are, we even earned ourselves a free sundae just for being us! (Or it could have been the irresistible charms of Chris & Lauren’s dog Bronx, who also joined us for the evening ;-) We didn’t take many pics, but we managed to snag at least this one of all four of us with the handy self timer. It was so much fun to reunite with such an awesome couple. Thanks you guys!
CHECK! #47: Take a trip with another couple
Coronado Island, California was the location of yet another one of our awesome destination weddings in 2010. My bestie Julie & her hubby Jimmy made the drive out with us while we were there to shoot Audrey & Aaron’s wedding in October. While we weren’t shooting, the four of us got to pal around the island enjoying great meals, fun times on the beach and even a crazy tandem bike ride! Thanks to the bike rental gal at the Del for the only semi decent photo of all four of us together LOL!
I think that officially brings us up to date, but there are plenty of exciting things ahead so stay tuned.
