A Tempe, Arizona Wedding by Phoenix Wedding Photographers Ryan & Denise
Stacy & Russell’s intimate wedding took place at Holy Spirit Catholic Church with a dinner reception following at House of Tricks in Tempe. In spite of the 104 degree temperatures, this sweet pair enjoyed their day celebrating with their closest family and friends. Stacy is sweet and passionate, always wearing her heart on her sleeve. Russell is strong and steady, with a quiet confidence. Like peanut butter and jelly, their differences compliment each other so well. Stacy is a photography enthusiast herself so here’s hoping this little preview of their photos will make her day!

Love this girl! From the moment we arrived, Stacy made it a point to make us feel like we were not just there to photograph the wedding but to be a part of it to. Such a beautiful, gracious bride!
Love this shot of Russell & his best man/brother as they arrived at the church, all dressed and ready to go.
A sweet kiss on the cheek from mom before heading down the isle.
Time to get married!
After the ceremony, we headed to the Secret Garden on the ASU campus for some photos.
It was defineatly the kind of day to rock out the shades for a few pics :-)
After photos, we headed to House of Tricks for a low key dinner. There were no formal events, just a time for the newlyweds to hang out and celebrate with those closest to them. We did ask them to do a little “cake shot” with their yummy dessert cupcakes though! Too cute!
The temperatures were much nicer after dinner so we snuck the happy couple away for a few final photos.
The restaurant was right in the heart of Tempe near where we shot Stacy & Russell’s engagement photos a few months before so it was really fun to shoot be able to shoot in a few of the same areas in their wedding attire.
Thank you Stacy & Russell for making us feel like such a part of your special day! It was so wonderful to share it with you guys :-)

Thanks for your write-up on this site. From my own personal experience, many times softening upward a photograph might provide the digital photographer with a little bit of an creative flare. Often times however, this soft blur isn’t precisely what you had in your mind and can usually spoil an otherwise good image, especially if you consider enlarging them.
