A Val Vista Lakes Wedding by Phoenix Wedding Photographers Ryan & Denise

You only have to hang out with Patsy & Rob for about 5 minutes to clearly see that they’re perfect for each other!  Not only are they madly in love, but they make each other laugh all the time and don’t take life too seriously :-) That’s a pretty awesome combination if you ask us!  When they first came to meet with us about photographing their wedding, Rob freely admitted that being in front of the camera was not his favorite thing but their photos were really important to Patsy so he was willing to go along with what she wanted.  Well, I like to think we changed his mind a bit, because the four of us had a blast during their engagement session AND on the day of their Val Vista Lakes wedding!  These two were so easy to photograph and absolutely adorable together.  We could not be happier for them and feel so blessed that they invited up to be a part of such a special day.

Patsy was grinning from ear to ear as she got ready for the day! Such a beautiful and gracious bride :-)

Meanwhile, Rob and his guys were at home doing their own preparation.

Next we headed over to the tunnel for a little change of scenery.

One of my favorites :-) Seeing Patsy’s happy smile makes my heart happy too!

Love this gorgeous portrait of Patsy just before the ceremony. It’s pretty much impossible to take a bad photo of this beauty!

Love this shot of the flower girls and Rob’s parents looking on as she came down the isle.

Patsy’s sons Kevin and Ryan composed and played the clarinet and viola during a very emotional part of the ceremony.

Patsy & Rob love to travel so they incorporated this passion in the details for their reception. So awesome! Every table represented a location on their bucket list of travel destinations!  When they do travel, they have a little gnome that comes along with them for photo opts.  You’ll notice that these friendly little guys found there way into the decor as well.

Each table was assigned a classic song and had to “dance for their dinner” to earn their spot in the buffet line. The guests really got into it too! So much fun to watch!

The first dance was a beautiful choreographed number they had learned for the occasion. They were both a little nervous about how it would come together, but it was amazing!

And this little guy seemed like the appropriate choice for their ring shot :-)

This photo pretty much sums up Patsy & Rob – full of fun, laughter and love! Now it’s time for Italy!!
