After a particularly bad first date, David lamented to his long time friend Bobby that he had nothing in common with any of the women he’d been meeting recently. He was a very active person who enjoyed going out, a variety of outdoor adventures and spending time in the gym. His date from the night before had told him that she had no interest in the gym and only wanted to hang out at home and watch Netflix. Following their conversation, Bobby began to formulate a plan. David lived in LA, but came to visit him often, so he decided that he would try to find him up someone in Arizona. Soon after, Bobby took notice of a woman named Joanna who was a regular at his gym. She was beautiful, and a “work out beast” as he so elegantly described her. He’d seen her around for a while, but never had a reason to strike up a conversation. He introduced himself, told her a little about his friend David and asked if she was game for a set up.  The rest, as they say, is history. And of course, Bobby would eventually stand beside them as David’s best man on their wedding day.

There was SO much to love about Joanna & David’s gorgeous CopperWynd Resort & Club wedding! The stunning mountain views, elegant green and gold details, amazing live band and the endless moments of joy we got to witness as this lovely couple became man and wife. Joanna & David are absolutely perfect together and we loved photographing their sweet chemistry. By the end of the day, our faces hurt from smiling right along with them from behind our cameras! One of our favorite moments of the day was when both of their fathers sang them a surprise song they’d been rehearsing as their “toast!” So sweet and funny! It was truly an unforgettable day!
