On Saturday September 25th, we met up with Ashley and Jesse in San Francisco for a really fun engagement session.  They flew us out to shoot their wedding, which was the following day.  That made their engagement session even better because of the high anticipation of the wedding the next day.  We started the session at the “Tanner Residence”. You know, Danny, Uncle Jesse, Uncle Joey, DJ, Stephanie, and Michelle.  Really it’s just the row of houses in the opening theme of the popular 90’s TV show Full House that took place in San Francisco.  A very iconic scene for our generation.  And yes, the four of us did sing the theme song together while we were there.  The sun was shining bright that day and the temps were nice but unseasonably HOT.  Ashley and Jesse did such a great job of just being themselves and having a fabulous time.

(Please sign the guestbook if you’d like to be notifed when the rest of their photos are online.)

Don’t forget to “love” on your favorite images along the way!

We walked around the area a little and almost immediately Ashley saw a small playground and wanted some shots on the swing set.  So FUN!

A special thanks to Jesse’s brother Chris who took time out of his very busy day to drive us around the city and be our tour guide.  Chris also makes a brief cameo appearance in this next shot.  (That’s him on the left, trying to pretend he doesn’t know the giggling lovebirds on the swing set.)

So sweet!

Okay, don’t you just love Ashley’s blue eyes?  She looks like a model in this next shot.

Two of the most important tips we give our couple’s on a shoot is to be themselves and to have fun.  One of my favorite shots of the day was walking back to the car after our first location.  There was a big hill and Jesse decided to give Ashley a piggy back ride so she wouldn’t trip on her heels.  I love that their expressions are so natural and you can tell they were having a great time.

Next we hit Nob Hill for a little more smoochin’ and lovin’.  It’s a very swanky neighborhood in San Francisco with extremely high priced homes and lot’s of amazing backdrops.  Side note: Ashley and Jesse’s first kiss ever was a nice lips to forehead kiss just like this next one :)

Awwwwwe, such a cute moment.

After a quick change of clothes, we headed down to the beach for some refreshing water and great views of the Golden Gate Bridge.  Ashley and Denise both have a mutual love for shoes.  Check out the red heels Ashley rocked for the rest of the session.

Adorable.

I totally love this next one.

Love the look on Ashley’s face when Jesse picked her up.

And we just had to give a little nod to the shoes.

I love this one!  We were all having so much fun!

To Ashley and Jesse:  We had such a great time with you guys!  It was so much fun exploring San Francisco with the two of you!  Stay tuned for photos from their awesome wedding later this week!
