We wrapped up 2018 with a couple’s session for April & Pat! It was an absolute joy to reconnect with this wonderful couple. These two lovebirds eloped in 2015 at the Desert Botanical Garden. We had the honor of capturing their ceremony AND serving as their only guests and witnesses too! Honestly, working with this sweet pair for their special day is one of the reasons that we’ve started regularly shooting elopements and intimate weddings. As much as we LOVE all the fun and adrenaline of traditional weddings, being a part of a moment so pure and intimate for April & Pat was such a joyful experience. It all came down to two people, promising to joining their lives. There’s something truly beautiful about that.

Having them in front of our cameras again along with their pup Calvin was so much fun! They actually chose to do their session just across the street from the Desert Botanical Garden, in a area of Papago Park where they’d often go for hikes and take Calvin for walks when they used to live in the area. It’s a much less manicured version of the Arizona desert, but no less beautiful! So glad we had the opportunity to catch up and we’re so excited to share some of our favorites of our time together.
