Even though we’ve been photographing couples for more than ten years, we’re still not tired of capturing beautiful moments for couples in love. I was thinking today about how strange it is to say that a photo is TAKEN. Our images are not a stolen moment. Our photos are MADE. They are intentional. Couples come to us with their amazing love story. We coach them in a way that reveals their natural chemistry and then we put them in an environment that brings out their beauty. The result – gorgeous memories that will last a lifetime. How cool is that? I absolutely love that we get to play a role in helping each of our couples cherish and remember this special season in their lives.

As I was choosing images to share from Annie & Matt’s Sedona engagement session, I kept finding myself thinking, “I wish we had a photo of us like this! That would look awesome on our wall.” LOL! Here’s hoping these two sweet lovebirds feel the same way! The red rocks of Sedona were the perfect backdrop for our time with Annie & Matt. From the moment we met these two, we instantly knew we’d have a blast with them and their engagement session did not disappoint! They’re one of those couples who just make sense together and being with them felt like hanging out with old friends. Kind, funny and up for anything, they weren’t the least bit deterred by the steep hike it took to get to one of our favorite view points. It was a hot, windy day, but they just took it in stride, snuggled up and enjoyed every minute of gazing into each others eyes. We couldn’t be more excited to capture their wedding in December at the Saguaro Lake Guest Ranch alongside our talented friends at Copper & Cotton.
