Amanda & Alex tied the knot on Friday at Ocotillo Golf Resort in Chandler :-) It was a beautiful day full of love and spent surrounded by family and friends. We always feel blessed to be a part of our clients lives but it’s even more special when we share a connection from the past. When I was a sophomore in high school I volunteered at a church camp as a counselor and Amanda, just a little 6th grader at the time, was in my cabin. It was so special to be a part of her big day and watch her marry such an amazing Godly man! They are such a sweet couple and so perfect for each other – if you haven’t already, make sure to check out their super cute engagement session from back in November. We’re so happy for you guys!
The day began at the B & B Salon where Amanda and a couple of her girls were getting their hair done.
And capturing a few photo memories of their own :-)
After that, they headed off to the Resort for some more preparation. We had a great chance to capture some detail shots. Here is a shot of Amanda’s bouquet, courtesy of the talented Sheryl Law of Simply Beautiful Wedding & Event Planning.
The dress . . .
Love this shot of Amanda getting her makeup done.
Amanda was so excited to get into her dress! The lacing on the back did require a little help from her girls . . . all four of them actually!
And over on the other side of the resort, Alex and his groomsmen were doing some preparation of their own. Love this :-)
These portraits of the guys and girls were taken separately but I just love how they complement each other so well!
Time to make it official! As you can tell, Alex was pretty psyched to finally see his bride!
After lighting the unity candle and taking communion together, they shared a few sweet moments of quiet prayer.
Mr. & Mrs. Sitek!
How cute is this?
And finally, a shot of the whole bridal party with the newly married couple:
After some family photos, we headed out for some quick portraits around the property.
Back to the reception for the first dance . . .
Just as the sun was setting, we snuck away for a few more photos. The sky was A-MAY-ZING! God was smiling on the union of two of his own :-)
A few more from the reception. How sweet is this one of Alex and his Mom? I’m pretty sure I can see a tear rolling down her cheek :-)
This may be one of our greatest shots of a bouquet toss ever! Check out the air Amanda got on that thing! AWESOME!
And last but not least, one last shot of the adorable couple :-)
