Every couple’s wedding is special, but there are some that are so filled with love and emotion that they stick with you long after the day has past. This was definitely the case for Alesa & Chase’s big day at Tre Bella. We laughed, cried and felt so much joy right along with this special couple. First off, these guys made us feel like family. We photographed Alesa’s sister Ana’s wedding in 2013 so arriving on the big day for Viera sister #2 pretty much felt like a family reunion. So many familiar faces and “welcome back” hugs! There’s no better way to kick off a wedding day, that’s for sure.

We also loved the fact that Alesa & Chase are carrying on the most wonderful of family traditions. These high school sweethearts both grew up in households where BOTH of their parents also met in high school and have been married for 30+ years. There wasn’t a dry eye in the house when Alesa & her dad reenacted a father-daughter dance they first performed in 1997 when she was just a little girl, with the video playing in the background. Ana gave a speech recounting all of Alesa’s “past loves” which included tenderhearted Noah from The Notebook and the “sparkling” Edward from Twilight. Chase’s two brothers (one older and one younger) recounted fun stories and talked about what an amazing man Chase is. After listening to their family and friends, we couldn’t help but fall even more in love with these two. Alesa and Chase both had HUGE smiles on their faces all day and were filled to the brim with the joy of two people who couldn’t wait to spend the rest of their lives together. We truly loved every minute of it.
