Sarah and Jon both graduated from ASU, but oddly enough their paths never crossed while they were there.  It wasn’t until Jon ended up training Sarah as part of a new job that they connected for the first time.  Sometime later they were on a road trip from Boston back to Arizona where they had lived for 2 years.  They stopped at their favorite steakhouse and Jon popped the question while a cowboy band serenaded them :-) How great  is it that we get to document so many great love stories?  Best. Job. Ever.  We had the pleasure of hanging out with Sarah and Jon, exploring their alma mater and hanging out in the desert for their engagement session.

ASU has so many great spots on campus.  I love that we shoot here a lot and rarely end up with the same backgrounds.

Jon requested a shot in front of an ASU sign – the one on the bridge over University ended up being the perfect spot.  Totally iconic

Sarah and Jon are all about the outdoors so our next step was the mountains and desert of Papago Park.  There’s just something about this shot that I love :-)

Sarah was rockin’ an awesome pair of boots so it felt like they needed a little attention :-)
