It’s hard to believe it, but we met first Charis when she was just a little girl! Her dad Michael was the pastor of student ministries at the church where we both served as high school leaders. He was even the officiant at our wedding 16 years ago. We’ve since watched Charis grown up on social media and run into Michael now and then as he officiated weddings for many of our RB Brides. When they reached out to us about capturing her wedding day we were truly honored and overjoyed at the chance to make beautiful memories for a family we’ve loved for so long!

We had so much fun getting to know the (now all grown up) Charis and her hubby-to-be Carter for their engagement photos! They took a break from their busy schedules as students and RAs at Grand Canyon University to come spend a few hours with us. Charis & Carter had THE BEST chemistry and were total naturals in front of the camera in spite of their claims that they don’t take good photos together. They laughed and snuggled their way through a desert adventure that ended on the banks of the salt river. It’s clear to see after spending just a few hours with these two that they are perfect for each other. We can’t wait to be a part of their day next May!
