The night CJ first met Alex, they were introduced by a mutual friend at a pub in Pittsburg. Oddly enough, that day, he had just moved into the very same room that Alex had moved out of a few weeks before. “Bluegrass night” at the pub was always one of her favorite nights of the week. As she twirled on the dance floor, CJ couldn’t take his eyes off her. He told his friends right then and there that she was the girl of his dreams. They saw each other again in group outings over the next few months and one night, they even shared a kiss. Alex told her friend the next day that she thought he could be “the one,” but the timing wasn’t quite right to pursue anything further. They lost touch and two years went by, until somehow they ended up both living in Phoenix at the the same time. After a bit of phone tag, they finally reconnected and CJ’s dream became a reality – they became inseparable!

Alex told us she wanted two things for their engagement session – cacti and mountains! There is truly no better place for either one than beautiful Peralta Trail in the Superstition Mountains. We loved our time with these two and we’re so excited to share some of our favorites.
