These San Diego dwellers were a dream to hang out with and photograph!

THEIR STORY: Rachel didn’t think anything of it when Jake asked if she wanted to grab dinner at one of their favorite restaurants one night. It had been a long day at work and they both could really use a relaxing night out. As they sat outside, ordering cocktails and chatting about Rachel’s upcoming  birthday. “What do you think about renting out the private room here and having a big party to celebrate?” Jake asked casually. “That would be a fun idea” she replied, glancing at the menu and taking another sip of her adult beverage. A few minutes later, he excused himself. As she waited by herself, the server stopped by to check in. “You’re boyfriend mentioned you were thinking about renting out the private room in our restaurant.” She asked, “do you want to come check it out?” What a great idea. She followed the server into the restaurant towards a door at the back. Expecting to see an empty room, her breath caught her in surprise when the server swung the door open and she looked down to see Jake on bended knee. He was surrounded by gorgeous flowers and the Tom Petty song “Here Comes My Girl” playing softly in the background. As he asked her to be his wife and the tears started to roll down her cheeks, she knew there would never be an easier answer to Jake’s Question.

These sweet lovebirds have known each other since seventh grade so needless to say, they’re pretty excited to “officially” start their lives together as husband and wife in a few short months. They’re romance first sparked in college while they were both students at ASU, so their alma-mater made the perfect backdrop for their engagement photos. We enjoyed every moment of our time with Rachel and Jake and have no doubt that they will be perfectly happy together, forever.
