Photographing engagement sessions is one of our FAVORITE things about working with couples! We love having the chance to spend time with them before their wedding day and capture their love and natural chemistry in front of the camera. It’s like an awesome double date, where we just happen to take a lot of pretty pictures. We get to share all of our best tips & tricks for looking their best in photos, making their wedding day portraits such a fun and easy experience. And of course, we’re all about helping them up their “selfie-game” in the process. ;-) Most of all, engagement sessions give us a chance to build relationships with our couples so by the time we show up on their big day, we’re just a couple of old friends who happen to bring along our cameras.
In 2016, we got to explore some amazing valley locations – from the banks of the Salt River, to the cacti filled paths of the Superstition Mountains and even to the Palm lined streets of the Phoenix Central Corridor. We journeyed to the stunning views of Arizona Rim Country, the breathtaking beaches of Portland and the sandy shores of Coronado Island. But no matter what the backdrop, we made memories with each and every couple we had the honor of photographing. It was a great year which produced some of our favorite engagement sessions ever! Thank you to all of the amazing couples who trusted us with their love stories this past year. We heart you guys!
