Tempe Center for the Arts engagement session by Phoenix Wedding Photographers Ryan & Denise
When two busy Doctors meet on the floor of the hospital, finding the time to go out on “dates” can be a tall order. Breen and Mike first crossed paths when she paged him for a consult on one of her patients. Her call may have been for strictly professional reasons, but it didn’t take long for them both to see that there was a spark there. So of course, they did what any two single, good-looking, medical professionals would do – they met for coffee in the hospital cafeteria.
They took their seats across from one another under the tungsten lights, coffee in hand and conversation flowing. It wasn’t the most romantic setting for a first date, but it would have to do. Things were going quite well on their little rendezvous until they heard the vibrating sound of a pager, cutting their time short. This would be how things would go for several weeks. Coffee. Great conversation. BUZZ! They started to refer to their dates as “Coffee Date 2.0, 2.1, 2.2” and so on, since it never really quite felt like a complete date. Luckily, they didn’t have any trouble picking up right where they left off the next time. In spite of the interruptions, they quickly became inseparable.
Breen and Mike drove all the way up from Tucson to hang out with us and take some engagement photos. We had a great time walking around Tempe Center for the Arts and Tempe Town Lake to grab some beautiful images of this darling couple. Here are some of our favorites from their session.
