Football and weddings. They seem like an unlikely pair, but when Kathy and Matt decided to make their favorite pastime the theme of their wedding day, it turned out that they were a pretty perfect compliment after all! Their big day turned out to be one of the most fun weddings we’ve ever had the honor of documenting! Maybe it was the reception filled with cheering fans, or the balloon release as they walked down the aisle after saying “I do,” or it may have just been the bubbly, unbridled joy of two people who are absolutely perfect for each other. These two darling love birds know exactly how to enjoy life and not take themselves too seriously. No stuffy traditions or cookie cutter wedding ideas for these two. They made their wedding a reflection of who they are and what they love. And it was AWESOME. Their lighthearted team rivalry played out throughout the decor of the day – Cardinals red vs. Vikings purple – and it even showed up in their custom helmet shaped cake! But when it came to their hearts, there wasn’t an ounce of division among them! It was true love all the way and they were just thrilled to be starting off their lives hand in hand.

While Matt waited to see Kathy for their first look, he held a purple balloon in honor of her favorite team. But, when he turned around and saw his beautiful bride looking even more stunning than he’d imagined, that balloon was long gone! The only word he could seem to muster was, “Whoa!” The rest was written all over his face. It was such a sweet moment and a perfect start to a day of fun, laughs and love. Thank you to the newly minted Mr. & Mrs. Beltran for asking us to capture such a momentous time in your lives! We loved every minute of it!
