A Continental Country Club Wedding by Flagstaff Wedding Photographers Ryan & Denise

It all started at a UofA football game during their freshman year of college. A bunch of students from Cru (Campus Crusade for Christ), had come to the game together in an effort to get to know each other. The first time Shannon saw Steven, he was standing in a line of guys that painted their chests with UofA colors in hopes of getting on TV. She tapped him on the shoulder and shouted over the noise of the crowd, “Hi! My name is Shannon – these are my friends!”  Some might say that she was brave to strike up a conversation with a complete stranger, but to Shannon, introducing herself was really no big deal. She had no idea that her simple act of reaching out to a tall, painted guy at a football game would end up being a story they’d be telling for the rest of their lives.

We were there to capture Shannon & Steven’s Continental Country Club wedding among the trees and mountain views of Flagstaff. The day was filled to the brim with great memories, wonderful friends and lots of happy laughter!

Shannon and Steven wanted to spend some time in prayer before the ceremony so we arranged a little “no peaking” first look.

How cute is this? Shannon & Steven’s maid of honor (Malia) and best man (Kyle) are their best friends AND a couple! In fact, they’re getting married in a few months too!
