A Fountain Hills Wedding by Phoenix Wedding Photographers Ryan & Denise

Nobody really likes starting a new job.  You show up on your first day, not knowing anybody or even where the lunchroom is.  And it’s never very fun to be singled out as “the new girl.”  Five years ago, Sarah was doing just that and as luck would have it, she ended up meeting the love of her life.  Jon was the person assigned to train her during those first few weeks of her new position.  In this case, being the “new girl” turned out to be the start of something incredible.  Five years later, these two co-workers turned lovebirds would become man & wife!

Sarah & Jon’s Fountain Hills wedding took place at the beautiful home of Sarah’s parents.  The girls got ready there and then headed to the ceremony site at the nearby Fountain Park.

Sarah’s dress was elegant and gorgeous, but her very special veil really made the look complete. It was the very same veil her mom wore on the day she married her dad :-) LOVE!

Loved the less structured, “wild” feel of the bouquets. Totally fitting for their outdoor ceremony & reception.

Sarah looked stunning and was all smiles as she prepared for the day.

From the moment she put on her dress, “Mister,” Sarah and Jon’s adorable dachshund, kept a close watch.  And of course, it was fitting that he himself was looking quite dapper in his puppy sized tuxedo!  TOO CUTE!

After getting a few shots of the beautiful ladies, we headed down the road to Fountain Park where Jon was waiting to see his bride!

Mr & Mrs!

They shared a few, teary moments together as their guests looked on just after the ceremony. So sweet!

We were just about ready to head back to the house when Jon asked if we could take some photos of him picking Sarah up. The results are some of my favorites! Way to go Jon!

These two photos are crazy adorable!

They love the desert so when we got back to the house we did a few less formal shots in the desert terrain nearby.

Then it was time to relax and join the party! Love these sweet moments from the first dance.

During Sarah’s dance with her Dad, Mister decided he wanted to join in on the fun!

Once everyone was settled in having a good time, the four of us decided to sneak away for a few quick sunset photos on the rooftop patio.  The sunset was perfect :-)

The Ulrickson home was beautiful by day, but it got even more gorgeous as the sun went down.  We just loved the many ways they added ambient light to give things a warm, homey feel.

Party time!

I’ve been in love with Sarah’s engagement ring with the blue side stones since we shot their engagement session, but adding her wedding band and Jon’s ring in to the mix just made the whole thing even more perfect.
