We love the fact that couples invite us to become a part of their families for the day when we capture their wedding. When we photographed Pam & Trevin’s destination wedding in Kauai last year, we not only had the time of our lives sharing in their joy (they are THE BEST), but we had the chance to bond with the rest of the Slaughter family too! In December, we loved spending time with Emily & Cody (Pam’s sister) for some couples photos and she had the wonderful idea to gift the rest of the family with a photo session to kick off the new year. The entire group was together celebrating the holidays at Debbie & Rick’s home in Tucson so we drove down and met them at beautiful Catalina State Park. The littlest member of the clan – Walker & Amanda’s sweet little guy Liam – stole the show for sure! It was adorable to watch the whole family dote him. He’ll have to share the spotlight soon because Will & Elise are expecting as well! We have no doubt that all of their lives (and arms) will be even fuller in the coming months. It was so much fun to reconnect with them all and capture their bond.
