The first time that Blake set eyes on Shelby, he knew that he’d make her his wife one day. He was hanging out with some friends at Country Thunder when he witnessed a driver maneuver a particularly large truck and trailer into a tight spot at top speed. Blake thought to himself, “That was some pretty impressive driving. I ought to go over and shake that guy’s hand.” As he made his way over to the truck, the door opened and out stepped a stunning redhead in cowboy boots. Not at all the person he had been expecting behind the wheel. He turned to his friends right then and there. “I’m gonna marry that girl – any girl that can drive like that – she’s the one for me!”  The rest, as they say, is history ;-)

There were SO many things to love about Shelby & Blake’s beautiful wedding day at their family ranch in Pinetop, Arizona! Their red wine & champagne color scheme was the perfect compliment to the woodsy backdrop. All of the decor and florals were flawless with just the right blend of rustic and chic. For their first look and bridal portraits, Shelby & Blake took us to see their favorite view of Pinetop – a special spot on top of a bridge, overlooking an open field of green and flowers.  It was so pretty! We could have photographed them there all day. And to add an extra special cherry on top, we got to include Shelby’s two horses in their photos as well which was a personal highlight of mine.  I grew up with horses so their guest appearance made my horse-loving-heart extra happy! Shelby even hopped up on her bay mare bareback in her wedding dress. How awesome is that? These two lovebirds were surrounded with wonderful family and friends who laughed and cried right along with them on the best day of their lives. The joy was contagious to say the least.
