Johnny was running late the first day he walked into Archeology 101. To his surprise, he was greeted by a young, beautiful professor who made an immediate impression on him. She was not at all what he would have expected from someone who was teaching about human history and ancient artifacts. Little did he know, it was Julie’s first day teaching her own class as well. Their first real interaction took place when he tried to convince her that he would be fine using the wrong version of the textbook that was assigned for the class. She politely disagreed and the next day, he dropped the class. Some time later, he happened upon this lovely woman for a second time – in an online dating profile. He sent her a message and told her they had met before. Not surprisingly, she didn’t remember him. It didn’t take long for them to discover that a tardy student plus a pretty professor was a perfect formula for soul mates.

And soul mates they are! It was pure joy to capture Julie & Johnny’s wedding day at the Ventana Canyon Resort and Mini Time Machine Museum of Miniatures in Tucson. Their ceremony, lovingly officiated by Johnny’s sister, was filled with sweet laugher, tears of joy and even a little audience participation ;-)  Our favorite moment was when they each read special vows to Johnny’s daughter Paige and Julie’s brother Jeff who each share a special role in their lives. Their special day was spent surrounded by so much love from their wonderful family and friends.
