Dyan and Bryan met when they were 19 and 20 years old. After mutual friends introduced them, they became fast friends. Time would soon lead them to different states and down different paths, but their memories of each other would remain strong and positive. Just a few years ago, they reconnected on Facebook and it became clear that they had a deep connection that went beyond just friends. At this point though, not only were they in different states, but Bryan had moved all the way to Germany. It felt like a world away so the idea of a romantic relationship seemed pretty complicated. They decided to meet in Paris (the most romantic city in the world) to reconnect in person and share a grand adventure! Well, by the end of the trip it became pretty clear that living separate lives wasn’t going to be an option. After a few short months of sorting out the details, Dyan made the move to Germany and shortly after, Bryan asked her to be his wife.

Meeting these two lovebirds on the first day of their marriage was such a joy! They made things official at the courthouse the day before with their family and friends, but we had the honor of documenting their union the next day at one of our favorite, quintessential Arizona locations – the Desert Botanical Garden. These two warmed out hearts with their sweet story and love for each other. And of course, we couldn’t help but give Bryan a hard time about the fact that Dyan moved all the way to Germany for him! He lovingly said that he tries to never forget that fact when she asks for a foot rub at the end of a long day. Ha ha! Love it!
