In 2009, while we were shooting Vanessa & TJ’s wedding, we noticed a particularly adorable young couple sitting at one of the reception tables. Naturally, our first response was to ask if we could take a photo of them together. As most couples do, they laughed and said, “Yes please!” That was the first time we had a chance to capture the sweet smiles of these two high school sweethearts. Fast forward to last year when our wonderful friend Amy of Celebrations by Amy Bacon contacted us about one of her brides. She thought we would be a perfect fit to document their wedding day. Little did we know, they would turn out to be none other than Angelia and Austin, the very same couple we snapped a photograph of so many years before! So yeah, it was pretty much meant to be :-)

When the day finally arrived for these two adorable people to be joined in marriage, we were over the moon excited! Angelia and Austin are the kind of people you just want to be around. Gracious, sweet and very much in love . . . and they played the Friends theme song for their grand entrance so that give them like a 1,000 awesome points in our book! Ha ha! To make sure their day was perfect, they enlisted the help of an all star cast of vendors and one of our favorite Arizona venues, Tempe Center for the Arts. It was truly an amazing day!

The preparation began at the Doubletree in Tempe where everyone was getting read for the day. Angelia’s details were classically beautiful and suited her style perfectly. How stunning is this girl? LOVE!And a few doors away, Austin was looking pretty dapper himself.We loved that Austin’s family (and puppy) were on hand to share in such special moments. How sweet is this shot of Angelia’s mom watching her get into her gown? Capturing moments like these is one of the things we love most about photographing weddings. When we arrived at the church, Angelia’s dad was equally thrilled to see his beautiful daughter in her dress for the first time.St. Francis Xavier Parish was absolutely beautiful. We were in awe of the architecture and lovely details from the moment we walked in.As they exited the ceremony, the newlyweds shared a sweet embrace before their family and friends arrived to congratulate them. Now that Angelia & Austin were officially Mr & Mrs, we all headed over to Tempe Center for the Arts to get the celebration under way. LOVE the mix of bold colors in the bouquets by Kate Ryan Designs. Celebrations by Amy Bacon, Kate Ryan Design and Piece of Cake Desserts truly outdid themselves with this event! We grabbed these cuties for a few shots by the water as the sun was setting. Party Time!You know it’s a good party when an impromptu game of bridesmaid dress limbo breaks out! Too funny!
