When we came up with goal #43 on our 101 list – make an album for our niece Makena – we had no idea that by the time we completed it, we’d have our little nephew Kaleb too! So #43 had to expand a bit to accommodate the new little man in our life. Shortly after shooting newborn portraits of Kaleb, we decided that an album of photos of both kids from 2010 would make a great Christmas present for my (Denise’s) sister & parents!

Usually clients only think about ordering an album for a wedding, but as you can see, albums are a great way to showcase photos from portrait sessions as well AND they make an incredibly thoughtful and personal gift too!
We’re so glad that one of our personal goals got to become something so special for our families too. It warmed our hearts watching everybody open them on Christmas day! And we’re looking forward to watching Makena & Kaleb look through this very same album when their all grown up one day – I’m sure they’ll hardly believe they were ever so tiny! :-)
