I love seeing all the “fun” stuff you guys are doing to the house! You’re absolutely right about how it’s NEVER as easy as it looks (which means it will ALWAYS take twice as long as your original estimate). And you’re correct about making many, many return trips to good old HD. I think those are universal home-owning rules.
ALSO, i know what it feel like to be in love with a curtain rod finial!! I love the ones in our living room so much that they will come with us every time we move, they’re never leaving my sight!
